Hey guys! It has been quite cold here in Connecticut lately, and I have been missing the warm weather. To prepare for the spring, I have been jamming some tunes for the future sunny days.
I have been really into this group that was shown to me by my aunt, Father John Misty. They are perfect lofi/twangy indie band that you want to sit back and relax with. To give you a reference point, they sound like a mixture of The Black Keys and City and Colour. Weird combination, right? Anyway, I bought their album Fear Fun and have been keeping it on a loop for a few days. Also, if any of you are a fan of Parks and Recreation, Aubrey Plaza (April) is in their music video for Hollywood Cemetery Forever. (I had massive heart eyes the entire video.) But seriously, I recommend these guys for all you indie rock fans out there. Thanks for reading and have a nice week!
Top Tracks: Hollywood Cemetery Forever, Nancy From Now On, This Is Sally Hatchet.
